SAT or ACT? Which is better?
SAT – no science
ACT – includes science
SAT – essay writing mandatory
ACT – no essay writing (optional)
SAT – points taken off
ACT – guessing is ok as points are not taken off
There you have it. We recommend your student choose the test that plays more towards their strengths. If you want to avoid science, go with the SAT. If you want to avoid essay writing, go with the ACT. If you want the ability to guess and not have points taken off, the ACT is for you. Let us know which one you like better.

Which test is easier the SAT or ACT?
Thanks,
Sarah G.
Wellesley, MA
Hi Sarah,
Your question is a great one and one we are asked all the time. The answer to your question will definitely be of interest to our 1,000’s of readers. Each of these standardized tests has their positives and negatives. The short answer is that these tests have slightly different requirements so you would want to choose the test that plays into your student’s strengths. For example one test requires science while the other test requires writing an essay. Check back here tomorrow as we will tell you exactly what you need to know about the SAT and ACT to help you decide which test would be best.
Sincerely,

Many studies have shown that people who speak first and loudest tend to persuade others to go along with their positions even when they are wrong. Teach your kids to always analyze and not be led blindly.

PARENTS AGREE: Y3K TUTOR IN YOUR HOME CHANGES LIVES
“We have used Y3K Tutor In Your Home for almost 2 years now to help my son through 7th and 8th grade and it has been extremely helpful. Even though our main focus is on math, Jerry is always willing to help with other subjects as needed and even helps my son with time management and organization skills. He is very flexible to schedule and very engaging with my son. I would definitely recommend him to any student that needs a little extra help!”
