Kids with Asperger’s or autism are fixated on set routines and find change difficult. Review and remind them when/how a change will occur ahead of time to avoid a major meltdown.

Kids with Asperger’s and language based disabilities can be sensitive and take things the wrong way. You should use simple, direct, and brief language with them. Then clarify so they understand.
Eyes and Focus
Kids eyes should be checked yearly. Eye problems like nearsightedness can cause headaches, lack of comprehension, fatigue and loss of focus.
Teeth and Learning
Kids teeth should be checked twice per year. Poor learning may be from pain of cavities, misaligned teeth, or grinding teeth at night.
Cold / Flu Tip
To avoid re-infecting yourself DURING and after a cold/flu, soak your toothbrush in rubbing alcohol to kill the germs.
Cold / Flu Re-Infection
Toothbrushes can re-infect people with the same cold/flu they have just gotten over. Wash toothbrushes in the dishwasher after being sick.
Cold / Flu Prevention
To prevent colds and flu, parents and kids should not share tubes of toothpaste. Each family member should have their own tube of toothpaste.
Two Ways to End Bullying
When telling the teacher doesn’t work, there are 2 ways to end bullying. Victims MUST confront bullies or parents should seek a lawsuit against school, principal, and/or bully. People that think it is funny or not happening will definitely end the harassment when faced with a lawsuit.
