Prior to a parent-teacher meeting, talk to your child to find out if they have any issues they would like discussed. This would include any social, bullying or learning style issues. Sometimes kids will disclose some of this information to their tutor, so you may want to ask us for some feedback too.
10th Annual Animal Rescue League of Boston Collection Drive
The animals need your help. You can make a difference for the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s animal shelters. Please help Y3K Tutor In Your Home aid abused and stray animals. You will have the opportunity to help dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and others. Please donate old or new towels, blankets, office supplies, and animal toys. Items will be picked up at your home between NOVEMBER 1, 2012 and JANUARY 1, 2013.
Please also tell all of your neighbors, friends and family. We will pick up from anyone regardless if they use our tutoring or not. We will be picking up items located in Brookline, Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, and Weston MA. There will also be drop off locations for those living outside of these towns conveniently located in Natick and Needham, MA.

A Girl Thing – Broadmeadow PTC Needham, MA
For the second year in a row, Y3K Tutor In Your Home has generously donated to the Broadmeadow Elementary School of Needham, MA’s A Girl Thing event. The public schools in Needham, MA are experiencing budget cuts and are being forced to make more with fewer resources. Our Y3K Tutor In Your Home donation combined with your auction bid will allow the Broadmeadow Elementary PTC to support curriculum enrichment, teacher enrichment grants and other important programs for the Needham children. This programming could not take place without the support of the people of Needham, MA.
Our goal is to give back to the community and the A Girl Thing event is a great way we can raise funds for the school. The fifth annual A Girl Thing is a wonderful evening of shopping and fun. NHS Friends of Music – Needham, MA
Budget cuts are felt throughout the Needham, MA school system, but they especially affect music programs. NHS Friends of Music strives to inspire students’ passion for music and to help maintain the excellence of the Needham High School music programs. Through Y3K Tutor In Your Home’s generous WinterFest Silent Auction donation and your support, Needham High School students can receive educational grants, travel assistance to music program opportunities and funds for uniforms. The 30th annual Needham High School Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011.
