It’s not the hours you put in, but what you put into the hours that count.
Parents Agree: Y3K Tutor In Your Home Changes Lives #6
PARENTS AGREE: Y3K TUTOR IN YOUR HOME CHANGES LIVES
The owner and head tutor was recommended by my daughter’s Algebra teacher at school. He has been instrumental in helping her as a non-native English speaker, understand the language of the Algebra taught in her school. He also has provided guidance and support in helping her enhance and develop her writing skills. My daughter has developed a trusting and respectful working relationship with him. She knows that she can rely on his expert advice and support on a variety of subjects and fields and is excited about continuing their association upon her return from spring break.

Bad Report Card? What To Do #2: How To Study
Bad Report Card? What To Do #2: How To Study
There are some students that want to do well on tests, but do not know the actual process of how to study. Learning study skills will allow your student to be able to demonstrate their understanding on tests and raise their grades.
Homework Strategy
Having a ton of homework can be overwhelming for a student. Students (and adults) may be paralyzed with fear as to how to get all of the homework completed. Have your child identify and start the hardest assignments first. This way their brain will be the least tired and most focused.
Stop Procrastinating
What is not started will never get finished.

Needham Parent Testimonial
“Y3K Tutor In Your Home has been a great support system for my son from elementary school through middle school. Helping him not only with the actual schoolwork but the organizational skills that it will take to be successful in school. My son looks forward to his sessions and plans out what he wants to work on so that he will get the maximum benefit. The tutor (who also happens to be the owner) is always willing to help him out in anything. He really knows my son. He also knows how to motivate and get my son back on task. The owner’s flexibility and support has really helped my son learn to enjoy school and not dread it. I would absolutely recommend Y3K Tutor In Your Home for anyone looking for a tutor.”

Solitary Intrapersonal Learners
Solitary (intrapersonal) learners prefer to work alone and use self-study. A solitary learner tends to be more private, introspective and independent. They like to work on problems by retreating to somewhere quiet and working through possible solutions on their own.
Social Interpersonal Learners
Social (interpersonal) learners prefer to learn in groups or with other people. They like social activities rather than doing their own thing. They typically like team sports.
