The math and science portions of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System better known as the MCAS test, will be given throughout the month of May. The schedule is as follows:
Math
Grades 3-8 May 10 – May 26
Grade 10 May 17-May 18
The elementary and middle school math MCAS test will be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 50 minutes. The high school math MCAS test will also be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 60+ minutes.
Science
Grades 5 & 8 May 11-May 26
For grades 5 and 8 the science MCAS test will be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 45 minutes.
* Please note that the dates listed are a range and that the sessions will be scheduled sometime within that range as the individual school systems sees fit.
