Saturday is the Cat Connection’s Whiskers & Whiskey Silent Auction and Gala. We are proud to help the cats get adopted with our Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring and test preparation auction donation. Your bids will help the Cat Connection help lost and abandoned cats. The money you give them for our donation goes to food, veterinary care, and a safe haven for these cats until they can be matched with a loving permanent home.

Auction for Animals – Humane Society of the United States

The Auction for Animals 2023 will be starting October 5 and going through October 15 by the Humane Society of the United States. Y3K Tutor In Your Home’s mission is to help children, families and additionally . . . animals. The Cat Connection in Waltham, MA will be conducting their annual Whiskers & Whiskey Silent Auction and Gala this coming Saturday! Please bid on our Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring and test preparation auction donation along with all of the other fine auction donations to help the abandoned and stray cats in need. The money raised will go towards medical bills, food, and care of these cats until someone adopts them.

Y3K Tutor In Your Home 17th Annual Buddy Dog Humane Society Collection Drive Complete List

Here is the complete list of items collected for the Y3K Tutor In Your Home 17th Annual Buddy Dog Humane Society Collection Drive.  There are three convenient drop-off locations.  Pick-ups are the first Saturday of each month.  Our collection drive is from November 1st to January 10th.  Call now!

Most Needed Items:

  • Martingale collars of all sizes

  • Bleach

  • Non-clumping, clay cat litter

  • Laundry detergent

  • Canned dog food (any brand or variety)

  • Plastic storage bins in medium and large sizes with lids!

  • Instinct Brand Rabbit Formula (Wet and Dry) Cat food

For the Cats and Kittens:

  • Canned cat food (any brand, but not the shredded variety)

  • Towels

  • Fishing pole toys

  • Small, rubber-bottom bath mats for cats who shred their newspaper (New or gently used)

  • Non-clumping, clay cat litter

For the Dogs and Puppies:

  • Special Diets:

    • ​Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Venison dog food

    • Hill’s K/D

    • Low-fat, low-calorie, or high-fiber

    • Hills Science Diet ID canned dog food and kibble!

  • Sturdy leashes, 6-foot and 8-foot

  • Toys (with no choking hazards such as beads)

  • Bully sticks, DentaStix, Greenies (no rawhides please)

  • Blankets, towels, sheets

  • Pill Pockets

  • Soft, chewy treats (soft Milkbones, BilJacs, Buddy Biscuits, etc.)

  • Canned dog food (any brand or variety)

For the Staff:

  • Office supplies: pens, duct tape, etc…especially wet erase markers!

  • Paper towels and tissues

  • First-aid items: band-aids, antibiotic ointment

  • Dish sponges, dish soap

  • Paw Safe ice melt (in the fall and winter)

  • Bug Spray (seasonal)

16th Annual Buddy Dog Collection Drive a Success

Many dogs and cats at the Buddy Dog Humane Society shelter in Sudbury, MA will sleep a bit more comfortably thanks to a heap of donations from Y3K Tutor In Your Home.  Arnold Goldstein, Senior Vice President of Operations from Y3K Tutor In Your Home recently donated blankets, towels, toys and supplies to the shelter.  All of the items were from Y3K Tutor In Your Home’s successful 16th annual collection drive for the Buddy Dog Humane Society shelter.
