The math and science portions of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System better known as the MCAS test, will be given throughout Newton, MA during the month of May. The elementary and middle school math MCAS test will be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 50 minutes. The high school math MCAS test will also be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 60+ minutes. For grades 5 and 8 the science MCAS test will be 2 sessions and each session will last approximately 45 minutes. The schedule is as follows:
