We would like to thank all that helped with our 7th Annual Animal Rescue League Collection Drive. Your generosity will allow the shelters to care for these abandoned/abused animals for a long time to come. A cat was even adopted due to this drive!! I wish we could stop collecting forever, but as long as there are animals in need, we will be there to do our part. We’ll see you next year for our 8th annual drive.

Collection Drive Wrap Up

Our 7th Annual Animal Rescue League Collection Drive wraps up at the end of this week. I would like to thank Incredible Tan of Newton for doing a great job helping us help the animals. Not only did they make a drop-off site for our collection, but they ran a successful collection for the Animal Rescue League as well. Incredible Tan of Newton is a classy salon and I highly recommend them for all of your beauty needs.

Winter

Cold, gray winter days can cause some students to feel depressed and lose focus. Plenty of bright light and lively colors make a difference.

Fine Motor Trick

Students with fine motor issues may need special pencils. Some require special grips, triangular design, rubber sides, or unbreakable lead.

Y3K Tutor In Your Home will make Animal Rescue League of Boston blankets, toys and food pickups this week in Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Brookline, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston and Sudbury. Call or email to schedule a pickup! For those that are outside of these towns, we also have drop off locations in Needham and Newton.

Fragile Egos

Some kids have fragile egos and are ashamed when forced to speak to the whole class. Stuttering, slow reading and math issues get spotlighted. Check with the teacher to make sure this doesn’t happen.
