Abraham Lincoln lost the race in 1858 for Illinois U.S. Senate to Stephen Douglas. Two years later he beat Douglas and became U.S. President. We can learn from this that it is OK to lose if we can learn from our mistakes. Also temporary failures do not define one’s life.
