The Y3K Tutor In Your Home owner has been an amazing tutor for my son.  I am so glad we got to know him. Right now he is helping my son with math. I like how he finds multiple ways of teaching something, specifically for how my son will understand. Y3K Tutor In Your Home 16th Annual Buddy Dog Humane Society Collection Drive Complete List

Here is the complete list of items collected for the Y3K Tutor In Your Home 16th Annual Buddy Dog Humane Society Collection Drive.  There are three convenient drop-off locations.  Pick-ups are the first Saturday of each month.  Our collection drive is from November 1st to January 10th.  Call now!

Most Needed Items:

  • Martingale collars of all sizes

  • Bleach

  • Non-clumping, clay cat litter

  • Laundry detergent

  • Canned dog food (any brand or variety)

  • Plastic storage bins in medium and large sizes with lids!

  • Instinct Brand Rabbit Formula (Wet and Dry) Cat food

For the Cats and Kittens:

  • Canned cat food (any brand, but not the shredded variety)

  • Towels

  • Fishing pole toys

  • Small, rubber-bottom bath mats for cats who shred their newspaper (New or gently used)

  • Non-clumping, clay cat litter

For the Dogs and Puppies:

  • Special Diets:

    • ​Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Venison dog food

    • Hill’s K/D

    • Low-fat, low-calorie, or high-fiber

    • Hills Science Diet ID canned dog food and kibble!

  • Sturdy leashes, 6-foot and 8-foot

  • Toys (with no choking hazards such as beads)

  • Bully sticks, DentaStix, Greenies (no rawhides please)

  • Blankets, towels, sheets

  • Pill Pockets

  • Soft, chewy treats (soft Milkbones, BilJacs, Buddy Biscuits, etc.)

  • Canned dog food (any brand or variety)

For the Staff:

  • Office supplies: pens, duct tape, etc…especially wet erase markers!

  • Paper towels and tissues

  • First-aid items: band-aids, antibiotic ointment

  • Dish sponges, dish soap

  • Paw Safe ice melt (in the fall and winter)

  • Bug Spray (seasonal)

PARENTS AGREE: Y3K TUTOR IN YOUR HOME CHANGES LIVES

The Y3K Tutor In Your Home owner has worked with my high school student for the past two years, helping with executive function, study skills, organization, time management, and homework coaching.  I am so grateful for his ability to act as coach, cheerleader and drill sergeant, often all at once. He enters our home with great energy no matter how late it is or how many students he may already have seen, and is instantly asking my student about last week’s test or homework assignment. He remembers the details of my student’s assignments – often better than the student does! The tutor presses gently but persistently until the results or outcomes are revealed. He has helped our student understand the importance of taking homework seriously and keeping up with it. He has contributed greatly to our student’s ability to track the volume of work and plan ahead for the coming week. This tutor is able to hold our student accountable and encourage the best effort in a way we, the parents, cannot do without a huge fight. We’re really grateful for his work and highly recommend him without reservations.
