Y3K Tutor In Your Home recently donated tutoring and test preparation services to the Underwood Online Auction. Be sure to bid generously for the Newton, MA children. Our donation and your bids help the Underwood School PTO raise money to pay for teacher’s classroom supplies, project materials, important curriculum enrichment programs through the Creative Arts and Sciences program, technology purchases, and so much more. All of these items are integral to the children’s education at Underwood Elementary School. Without our donation and your bids, programs like these would not be available to the Newton students. It is our support that continues to make the Underwood Elementary School a special place.

Our Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutor has been very consistent in his requirements for our son. It is easy to see that he has a lot of experience with “difficult” kids. He keeps his calm and finds a way to move forward. Jerry has helped our son a lot with organizational skills and planning. It has been only 2 months but we are definitely seeing progress in the right direction. We had first engaged Y3K Tutor In Your Home five years ago, when our son rose at 1:00 AM one night and said he’d felt as if he were “drowning in school”. This is despite the excellent LD assistance provided in his middle school. During their first meeting, I could hear my shy son actually giggling with the tutor and his confidence, outlook, and grades all began to shift seismically.
Today, that frightened little boy is a confident and fully engaged student who graduated high school this past spring and on the honor roll. As he and his tutor have built a wonderful relationship of trust and friendship, we intend this relationship to continue through college. In my estimation, our son’s Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutor is an outstanding educator who meets students where they are, so as to get them to where they dream of being.

There will be a silent auction for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Annual Gala. This year’s event will help shed light on opioid and substance use disorders in our community.
