This 2023-2024 school year is very special for Y3K Tutor In Your Home as it is our 20th school year in business. It is said that if a business can last two years, then they really have something to offer. With 20 years in business, we know for sure that we have made it. However it is really the students and families that we have helped succeed and grow on their learning journey that are the reason we have made it. All of the hard working children we have served over the past 20 years has allowed Y3K Tutor In Your Home to be so successful as an organization and number one rated educational resource.
Welcome Back!
If you were with us over the summer, thank you for trusting us with your child to show them the success that is possible and accomplishing their learning goals. If your student is returning for another school year after a relaxing but unusually wet or hot summer (depending on where you were), we say welcome back! If your family is starting Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring sessions with us for the first time this school year, we also welcome you. Let’s have fun learning and savoring the thrill of achieving success together!

Online Tutoring
Everyone must become part of the national effort to slow the coronavirus spread using social distancing. In the case of Y3K Tutor In Your Home, we continue to educate our students. Although during the coronavirus shutdown we are no longer to able to personally teach inside your home, we are still seeing all of our students with online tutoring. In many cases we are the ONLY educators left in that child or young adult’s life. The work of our staff is essential to those we serve. Our Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutors continue to tutor all students using FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp and more! Lessons are as if we are in your home sitting right next to you.
During this time of coronavirus (COVID-19) it is heartening to know that Y3K Tutor In Your Home never stops – never sleeps – and is always educating those students in our care.

Money & Kids #8: Compounding Interest
Compounding interest is money that is added to your bank account over time. It can also be money that is added to your credit card bill or loan so you pay a lot more than you originally borrowed. Teach your kids about how saving money today can grow into something much more over time due to compounding. Also teach them how debts can grow into something larger over time due to compounding. Show them the math behind this concept. If you need help teaching them the math of compounding interest, contact Y3K Tutor In Your Home today.
