Wellesley Tutoring
We are proud to donate to the families of Wellesley, tutoring and test prep services as part of the Wellesley Library Foundation “Hole Lot of Fun” miniature golf fundraiser. Y3K Tutor In Your Home donation and your participation will allow the Wellesley Public Library to have continued growth and vitality.
While the Town of Wellesley has always provided for core services, there is little funding available within this budget for major initiatives or expansion programs, services or the collection. Currently, between 15%-20% of the library’s operating needs are met through private funding. Our support of the Wellesley Free Library provides additional funds to enhance programs; make building and technology improvements and maintain the branch libraries.

ALICE (Alert-Lockdown-Inform-Counter-Evacuate)
ALICE (Alert-Lockdown-Inform-Counter-Evacuate) calls for alerting the police and implementing a lockdown in response to an armed attacker. This in itself is standard procedure in all schools. ALICE takes it a step further by training students and teachers to consider other options such as evacuating or fighting off the attacker. Teachers and students are trained in ways to stop the gunman as a last resort, if there are no other options.
