Studying Advice
Studying works best when a student reviews small chunks at a time. It can be overwhelming to try to memorize the whole thing at once.
Studying
The best study skill is to not wait until the last minute to begin studying. The more time a student has to prepare, the easier they can retain the material.
Backpack Check
Put your child’s backpack on a scale and weigh it. Remember it shouldn’t weigh more than 15% of their body weight.
Backpack Weight Reduction Tip
Accumulated papers in a backpack can become very heavy. Frequent binder checks can solve this problem. Students should carry only what they need.
Backpacks
A fully loaded backpack should not weigh more than 15% of a student’s body weight. A 100 lb student should not be carrying more than 15 lbs.
