Mandated by Massachusetts law, every school system must have a bullying prevention and intervention plan. Take full advantage of this resource if it is in your community, as it may be easier for a victim to fill out the on-line form than it is to tell someone face to face.

As a parent, you know the environments or situations that often are going to be successful or unsuccessful for your child. For example you may opt to skip the jewelry-making portion of a party if your child has poor fine motor skills. If your child doesn’t swim, you may not sign on to the swimming portion of the party. Find out the party’s schedule and bring your child when they are eating, opening presents, or doing other activities your child can successfully participate in.
